Dacia Bigster: official launch in Romania. Equipment and prices for the model produced exclusively in Mioveni

Dacia Bigster has been available in Romania since 9 January at a basic price of 23,000 euros. Produced exclusively at the Mioveni factory, this model was presented for the world premiere at the Paris Auto Show.

Bigster has a starting price of EUR 23,000 (VAT included) for the Essential version and the price reaches EUR 29.500 (VAT included) for the top version, Journey Hybrid 155, according to Dacia.

“Dacia Bigster offers all the essential elements required by customers of the C-SUV segment, focusing on comfort and practical appearance, offering a wide range of equipment, depending on the level of equipment chosen,” is shown on the company’s website.

Available equipment levels

Bigster is offered in four versions of equipping: Essential, Expression and two premium variants at the same price:

• Bigster Extreme: Thought for outdoor activity enthusiasts, includes endowments such as panoramic ceiling with electric opening and oscillating function, modulable flag bars, Hill Descent Control system and rubber mats included in standard equipment.
• Bigster Journey: Designed for comfort and long journeys, this version has two-tone bodywork (black flag), electric-driven tailgate and electric-adjustable driver seat.

Engines

The new Dacia Bigster comes with a wide range of thrusters, including electric, hybrid and internal combustion engines. One of the novelties is the TCE 140 engine, which combines a 3-cylinder, 1.2-litre turbo gasoline engine with a 48V liquid mild system. This configuration improves driving pleasure, optimizes fuel consumption and reduces CO2 emissions.

Bigster also introduces the automatic drive of HYBRID 155, available starting with Expression equipment level. For off-road enthusiasts, the TCE version 130 4 × 4 includes a 6-step manual gearbox and 48V hybrid mild system, providing excellent performance under difficult conditions. This motorization, previously launched on the new Duster generation, is also available on Bigster starting with the equipment of Expression.

Original characteristics

Dacia Bigster has side-support seats, improved sound insulation, two-zone air conditioning system for front seats, separate rear passenger aerators and panoramic roof with electric opening and oscillobating function. Other features include electric control driver seat, six-speaker multimedia system, Arkamys 3D sound and smart YouClip accessory system.

Design and Technology

The design of the Bigster model places emphasis on the essential, given the robustness and inner space. It offers options such as two shades and 19 inch alloy rims. In addition, the model comes with modern technology, including exclusively electrified motorways and facilities such as a 10-inch central screen, a digital dashboard and an electric-controlled tailgate.

With bold design, a wide range of motor drivers and a focus on comfort and practice, Dacia Bigster sets new standards in the C-SUV segment.
